Bingo!-Projektförderung

The BINGO! Project Funding Office is the administrative body that, on behalf of the state government of Schleswig-Holstein, manages the proceeds from the environmental lottery "BINGO! – The Environmental Lottery" operated by NordwestLotto Schleswig-Holstein and allocates funding to non-profit projects. Its headquarters are located in the historic Westeraccum Mill in Dornum. The office supports initiatives, associations, and non-profit organizations in Schleswig-Holstein in implementing projects related to nature and environmental protection as well as development cooperation. The allocation of funds is decided quarterly by a volunteer-based allocation committee according to established funding guidelines.

Our mission is to strengthen awareness of ecological interrelationships, preserve livable habitats, and promote sustainable development in Schleswig-Holstein and beyond by funding projects in nature and environmental protection as well as in development cooperation. We see ourselves as a driving force for forward-looking ideas and collaborative partnerships among all those interested in environmental protection.

The target group of the BINGO! project funding consists of non-profit initiatives, associations, and organizations based in Schleswig-Holstein that plan and implement projects in the fields of nature and environmental protection or development cooperation. Projects that make an innovative or sustainable contribution to the protection of habitats, environmental education, or global responsibility are supported.
