About the funder
The Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) is the highest federal authority responsible for the financial and tax policy of the Republic of Austria. Within the BMF, Section VI – Telecommunications, Post and Mining, particularly the Department for Digitalization and Innovation, assumes program responsibility for the security research funding KIRAS/K-PASS. As the publisher and media owner of the 2023 call for proposals, this unit coordinates the requirements and thematic priorities for the funding of research and development projects in the field of critical infrastructure protection and cybersecurity.
