About the funder
The Bürgerstiftung Dußlingen is a community foundation established in 2012 by and for the citizens of Dußlingen. It supports local social, cultural, charitable, and ecological projects that do not fall within the core responsibilities of public authorities. With its income from endowments, donations, and assets, it funds initiatives in the areas of education, culture, child, youth and elderly care, health promotion, sports, as well as landscape, nature, and monument conservation.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to strengthen personal responsibility, community spirit, and identity in Dußlingen through civic engagement. We offer all residents the opportunity to actively shape their living environment and are committed to sustainable local development that unites social justice, ecological viability, and global responsibility. Regardless of political or religious affiliations, we support projects that advance the common good locally.
Target groups
Non-profit associations, institutions, initiatives, and individuals in Dußlingen and the surrounding neighboring communities are supported, provided they plan and implement local projects within the statutory areas. Preference is given to projects with a high level of volunteer involvement, personal contribution from the initiators, model character, sustainability, broad impact, and an innovative approach. Projects must fulfill the statutory purposes of the foundation and must not fall within the primary responsibilities of the public sector.
