About the funder
Bürgerstiftung Gronau is a non-profit foundation based in Gronau (NRW). It promotes civic engagement through financial and in-kind support of local projects in the fields of education, culture, and social affairs. Its flagship projects include the Georgs Galerie cultural center in Epe, the HERZschlag initiative for the widespread provision of defibrillators, as well as community activities such as the Children's Wish Tree campaign and the "Seepferdchen" swimming project. The foundation supports initiatives that strengthen the common good and foster cohesion in Gronau/Epe in an unbureaucratic manner.

Mission & Vision
We take responsibility for the future of our city of Gronau and strengthen civic engagement. Our mission is to promote the shared and individual responsibility of citizens and to create a sustainable foundation for future generations through targeted project funding. In doing so, we place great value on education, creativity, tolerance, and the networking of all volunteers.
Target groups
Funding is provided to associations, initiatives, institutions, and project groups with a clear connection to Gronau/Epe, whose projects have a sustainable impact and benefit the general public or clearly defined groups. Individuals and projects without a regional connection or with other public funding are excluded.
