About the funder
The Bürgerstiftung Hanstedt is a legally recognized foundation under civil law, established by citizens for citizens. It promotes the common good throughout the entire Samtgemeinde Hanstedt through financial contributions, voluntary engagement, and creative ideas. Its projects include, among others, the senior citizens' lunch table, the public library and meeting place "Bökerstuuv," the Hanstedt Christmas market, reading promotion programs for children, as well as cultural and bereavement services. The foundation finances its activities through foundation assets, donations, endowments, and municipal grants.

Mission & Vision
In our foundation community of donors, endowers, and volunteer supporters, we aim to be the driving force and catalyst for diverse activities in the Hanstedt municipality. We strengthen awareness of social, regional, and communal responsibility and create meeting spaces for young and old alike. Community does good!
Target groups
The funding programs and projects of the Bürgerstiftung Hanstedt are aimed at all residents of the Hanstedt collective municipality.
