The Bürgerstiftung Kirchzarten was founded in December 2012 with initial capital of approximately €150,000 and sees itself as an independent funding organization "by and for the people of Kirchzarten." Mission & Vision
The Bürgerstiftung Kirchzarten is committed, under the motto "For Each Other – Together," to sustainably enhancing the quality of life in the community. Its goal is to establish an independent and permanent funding organization that supports projects in areas beyond the municipality's mandatory responsibilities. Independent and oriented towards the common good, the foundation aims to bring people in Kirchzarten together and provide both financial and ideological support.
Target groups
Funding is provided to committed private individuals, associations, institutions, and companies from Kirchzarten who wish to implement innovative or worthy projects in the fields of social affairs, culture, sports, and the environment. Through the affiliated Dr. Gremmelsbacher Relief Fund, needy, seriously ill, and disabled people in the community are also supported in an unbureaucratic and prompt manner.
