Mission & Vision
Our goal is to sustainably improve the quality of life in Norden and its districts by strengthening civic engagement and promoting civil society responsibility. We aim to motivate citizens, associations, and businesses to actively contribute their time, ideas, and financial resources to the common good, thereby jointly realizing projects that advance the region in the areas of youth, culture, and social affairs.
Target groups
The Bürgerstiftung Norden is aimed at all individuals and organizations in the former district of Norden who wish to engage in the common good: private and public institutions, associations, initiatives, volunteers, and cultural workers. Project sponsors active in the fields of youth promotion, social institutions, arts and cultural work, as well as environmental and heritage conservation, are supported if they seek to make a sustainable contribution to shaping their living environment.
