About the funder
The Bürgerstiftung Westlicher Bodensee aims to strengthen civil society in the Westlicher Bodensee region. As a non-profit foundation, it systematically initiates and supports projects that provide cultural and social added value and promotes the engagement of active citizens in the spirit of "corporate citizenship." The foundation was established at the end of 2006 with initial capital of €100,000 on the initiative of Volksbank eG, Konstanz, and receives additional annual funds for sustainable project initiatives.
