Mission & Vision
Department V/7 aims to accelerate the transformation of the Austrian energy sector towards climate neutrality and to strengthen societal acceptance of sustainable energy forms. Its guiding principle is to engage as many stakeholders as possible in the energy transition through transparent and impact-oriented funding instruments, as well as targeted public relations and educational efforts, thereby making a tangible contribution to climate protection.
Target groups
The funding programs of Division V/7 are aimed at companies of all sizes wishing to invest in renewable energies, energy efficiency, or innovative energy technologies; public institutions and municipalities implementing municipal energy strategies; research institutions and universities advancing application-oriented projects; non-profit organizations and educational providers in the fields of sustainability and energy; as well as private individuals within the framework of information and awareness-raising measures.
