Carl-Theodor-Leyendecker-Stiftung

The Carl-Theodor-Leyendecker Foundation is a non-profit, privately endowed organization based in Trier. It was founded on December 21, 2007, by entrepreneur Peter Leyendecker and is held in trust by the Caritas Foundation in the Diocese of Trier. The foundation supports individuals and families in difficult life situations, promotes disadvantaged children, adolescents, and adults in their education and upbringing, assists disabled persons and prisoners, and protects marriage and family through material aid. Additionally, it specifically supports young people in the transition from school to vocational training and employment.

The Carl-Theodor-Leyendecker Foundation aims to plant a tree today that will bear fruit tomorrow: it creates a social framework that provides people with guidance and self-help. Its mission is to assist individuals and families in distress through financial and non-material support, to promote equal opportunities, and to establish sustainable prospects for education, training, and family cohesion.

The funding programs are aimed at individuals and groups with limited capabilities and disadvantages, particularly children, adolescents, and adults living in precarious or educationally disadvantaged conditions, people with disabilities and prisoners, families in financial or social distress, as well as young people transitioning into training and employment.
