About the funder

The Carpe diem Foundation is a non-profit and charitable foundation established in 2021, held in trust by TriValora GmbH. It provides financial support to individuals and institutions to improve the quality of life for patients with leukemias, lymphomas, and other blood and lymphatic system diseases, as well as their relatives. Administrative costs are covered by the foundation's asset income, while donations are fully allocated to funding measures. A board of trustees decides on the awarding of grants in each individual case.

Mission & Vision

The Carpe diem Foundation is committed to alleviating the financial burdens of blood cancer patients and their families who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own. Our goal is to provide "small respites" and essential support—such as for hospital stays, travel expenses, or equipment in self-help and clinical settings—through financial grants and project funding, thereby sustainably improving psychological and physical quality of life.

Target groups

The Carpe diem Foundation supports patients with hematologic-oncologic diseases (leukemia, lymphoma, or other malignant diseases of the blood and lymphatic system) who experience financial difficulties due to therapy and long-term consequences, their relatives who require support and respite during hospital or rehabilitation measures, and institutions such as self-help organizations, support associations, or hospital departments that carry out projects to improve the accommodation and care conditions of blood cancer patients and their families (e.g., lounges, sports equipment, Wi-Fi).
