Mission & Vision
The Christian Doppler Research Association (CDG) is a non-profit organization that acts as a pioneer of successful cooperation between science and industry in Austria. It promotes application-oriented basic research in specially established research units (CD laboratories at universities and non-university research institutions, as well as Josef Ressel Centers at universities of applied sciences). The goal is to strengthen knowledge transfer and to jointly develop new products and processes with corporate partners, from which both sides benefit equally.
Target groups
The CDG is aimed at research-active companies, universities (universities, universities of applied sciences), and non-university research institutions that wish to conduct application-oriented basic research. Funding is provided especially to researchers and companies seeking the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and questions in order to develop sustainable innovations.
