Mission & Vision
Our goal is to strengthen international understanding in the Upper Rhine region through cross-border teacher and student programs, to foster lasting interest in foreign cultures and languages, and to train future bridge-builders in Europe. We support projects that promote democratic education, are competence-oriented, and interdisciplinary, and we are committed to Baden-Württemberg and France jointly shaping a vibrant Europe.
Target groups
The offerings are aimed at teachers of all school types in Baden-Württemberg, especially primary school teachers interested in teaching in the neighboring country. Additionally, German-French student exchanges are supported: participating schools must be located within the mandate area of the Upper Rhine Conference (Académie de Strasbourg). Programs such as observation exchanges and partnership exchanges are designed for teachers of all subject groups and students aged twelve and older (partially also for younger students).
