About the funder

The Christian Foundation Future Human is a legally capable, independent foundation under civil law based in Oberhausen, recognized by the District Government of Düsseldorf on March 7, 2007. It was established by the Kulturring Oberhausen e. V. and provides the proceeds from its endowment capital as well as donations for charitable purposes. The foundation promotes education and upbringing in all areas of life – particularly environmental and nature conservation, healthcare, religion – as well as art and culture, youth, family, and elderly care. In doing so, it supports its own projects and cooperates with church and civil society organizations in Oberhausen. The funds primarily come from capital income and additional endowments.

Mission & Vision

The Christian Foundation Future Human is committed to improving the future prospects and personal development of children, youth, families, and seniors in Oberhausen. It promotes the transmission of values, social pastoral work, ecumenism, integration, and civic engagement. Through financial support and its own activities, it aims to strengthen self-confidence, alleviate poverty, and mobilize voluntary commitment.

Target groups

Funding is primarily provided to church-related and non-profit organizations of the Working Group of Christian Churches (ACK) in Oberhausen: church congregations, associations, initiatives, providers of child and youth welfare, as well as cultural and educational institutions. Individuals may also submit applications through an institutional partner. Projects should benefit children, youth, families, seniors, and other target groups in Oberhausen.
