About the funder

The CP Art and Culture Foundation is a legally established civil law foundation based in Peißenberg (Bavaria). It was founded in 2007 by Christa Probst, initially under the umbrella of the non-profit "Pro Bono Trust Foundation," and attained the status of an independent non-profit foundation in 2014. The foundation supports art and culture as well as local heritage and customs preservation in the Lech-Isar-Land region. Its activities include the restoration of historic art monuments, the support of local history publications, and the promotion of musical youth development. The foundation's assets consist of art objects and financial investments. The board is composed of Christa Probst and Anil Shrestha-Probst.

Mission & Vision

Promotion of art and culture as well as local heritage and customs — with a special focus on the preservation and transmission of regional cultural assets, the support of art monuments and local history publications, and the promotion of young talent in music.
