About the funder
Creative Europe Desk MEDIA is the central advisory and information network for the EU funding program MEDIA in Germany. Under the umbrella of Creative Europe, MEDIA offers financial support with a total budget of €1.4 billion (program period until 2027) for projects in the European audiovisual sector. The focus is on strengthening transnational cooperation between producers, distributors, exhibitors, VOD platforms, and other sector stakeholders, as well as on increasing the competitiveness and diversity of European media offerings.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to promote the innovation capacity and cohesion of the European audiovisual cultural and creative industries. We are committed to enabling cross-border projects, supporting innovative business models, and exchanging best practices to enhance the visibility and success of European media content worldwide.
Target groups
MEDIA targets all players in the European audiovisual value chain: film and series producers, game developers, distribution and sales companies, cinema and festival organizers, VOD platforms, as well as innovative start-ups and networks seeking to collaborate on cross-border projects.
