About the funder

The Dammer Bürgerstiftung is a non-profit foundation based in the town hall of the city of Damme. It supports projects and initiatives throughout the Damme area, placing special emphasis on education, youth and senior work, integration, culture, sports, and environmental and nature conservation. Since its founding in 2011, it has supported volunteer initiatives, awarded grants for young talents, and organized its own projects such as reading mentors, language courses for refugees, and financial education programs in schools. Target groups

The funding programs of the Dammer Bürgerstiftung are aimed at all residents of the city of Damme and its surrounding area. This includes young talents aged 14 to 25 residing in Damme (award), volunteer initiatives and non-profit associations, educational institutions (primary, secondary, and intermediate schools), seniors and intergenerational projects, refugees and asylum seekers in language courses, as well as individuals wishing to engage in civic activities.
