The Deutsche Arthrose Stiftung is a legal foundation under private law based in Pforzheim, approved by the Karlsruhe Regional Council. It exclusively and directly pursues charitable purposes in the field of public health care, with a focus on combating osteoarthritis. At the core of its work are the neutral exchange of knowledge and experience, the documentation and evaluation of osteoarthritis therapies, the support of regional self-help groups, as well as the promotion and recognition of scientific achievements in osteoarthritis research.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to sustainably improve the quality of life for people with osteoarthritis. We create independent and open platforms for information and exchange, promote research and transparency in the healthcare market, and support those affected in making informed decisions and actively shaping their therapies.
Target groups
The offerings of the German Osteoarthritis Foundation are aimed at individuals affected by osteoarthritis in Germany as well as their relatives. They include individuals and groups who wish to inform themselves about osteoarthritis and its treatment and to exchange information, regional self-help groups and self-help coordinations, medical professionals, as well as early-career researchers and research institutions engaged in osteoarthritis.
