Mission & Vision
As a non-profit foundation, we are committed to "Together Against Cancer": We support research projects that address relevant issues for patients and their families, promote prevention campaigns and educational initiatives, and connect professional societies, patients, and interested parties. Our goal is to make a sustainable contribution to cancer prevention, care, and living with cancer through seed funding, publications, and public relations.
Target groups
The funding programs of the German Cancer Foundation are aimed at scientific groups and individual projects in the field of oncology that address social aspects, living and working conditions, as well as the quality of life of cancer patients. Our target group also includes professional societies, regional cancer societies, associations, and initiatives that implement projects related to cancer prevention, early detection, education, and psychosocial support.
