Mission & Vision

Under the motto "Creating Opportunities," the DFL Stiftung aims to sustainably empower children, adolescents, and young sports talents so that they can realize their individual potential. Through its own funding programs, thematic calls for proposals, networking and exchange formats, as well as league-wide campaigns, it leverages the reach and role model function of professional football to assume social responsibility and drive positive change in the areas of integration, education, health, and elite sports.

Target groups

The funding programs of the DFL Foundation are primarily aimed at children and young people from all social groups, especially young people with refugee experience or disabilities, as well as sports talents from over 50 Olympic and Paralympic disciplines. In addition, it supports non-profit organizations and initiatives that implement projects for integration, social cohesion, health promotion, and the development of elite sports talents.
