Die Chancenstiftung – Bildungspaten für Deutschland

Die Chancenstiftung is an operational foundation under civil law based in Frankfurt am Main. It awards nationwide scholarships for professional tutoring in small groups to children and young people from low-income families. The goal is to promote educational equity, enable academic success regardless of social background, and optimally prepare young people for the challenges of their future.

"More educational equity in Germany!" is the guiding principle of the Chancenstiftung. Its mission is to offer every schoolchild—regardless of background and financial means—a fair opportunity through individual educational scholarships and personal support. Through professional tutoring in small learning groups and accompanying assistance, the foundation strengthens the self-confidence, motivation, and academic performance of its scholarship recipients.

The Chancenstiftung targets children and adolescents in Germany whose family or financial situation places them at a disadvantage within the education system. It supports students who require professional tutoring to compensate for academic deficits and to achieve important milestones such as school qualifications. The focus is on targeted support in small, performance- and subject-homogeneous groups (max. 5 participants).
