Mission & Vision
The Senator for Children and Education is committed to providing quality education from the very beginning in the state of Bremen. Our goal is to enable children and young people to access equitable and high-quality educational opportunities across the entire educational spectrum. We promote early childhood education, inclusive and digital learning, as well as school and vocational education. In doing so, we work in partnership with schools, daycare centers, parents, teachers, and other partners to implement innovative concepts such as all-day schools, talent development, and sustainable quality development.
Target groups
The target groups are children and adolescents of all age groups in the state of Bremen, as well as their legal guardians. Furthermore, the work is directed at early childhood education institutions, schools, teachers, educational professionals, and providers of child and youth welfare services. We support all actors who accompany and shape educational processes in order to promote an inclusive, equitable, and future-oriented educational landscape.
