The Dieter Schwarz Stiftung gGmbH is one of the largest non-profit private foundations in Germany, founded in 1999 by entrepreneur Dieter Schwarz. Its goal is to provide support where public authorities reach their limits. With a clear focus on education, science, and entrepreneurship, it supports long-term projects in the Heilbronn-Franken region to strengthen sustainable development, equal opportunities, and innovative capacity. Since its inception, over 1,300 initiatives and institutions have been supported, including schools, research institutes, start-ups, and educational programs.

Target groups
The Dieter Schwarz Foundation directs its funding offers to non-profit institutions, organizations, gGmbHs, and associations in the Heilbronn-Franken region. Supported are schools, student competitions, continuing education institutes, start-ups, research institutes, congresses, and event formats in the fields of education, science, and entrepreneurship. Private individuals, non-charitable organizations, as well as loans or credits are excluded.
