About the funder
The Don Bosco Foundation is an umbrella foundation of the Salesians of Don Bosco, which has been operating since 2001 in cooperation with the non-profit Haus des Stiftens gGmbH and the Stiftungszentrum.law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. It supports individuals who wish to promote disadvantaged young people in Germany and worldwide through a foundation, donations, or by will. Under its umbrella, around 200 trust foundations and foundation funds have been established to implement projects for children and youth. The Stiftungszentrum advises interested parties on founding foundations, supporting, and bequeathing, and provides information on ongoing projects and news through the quarterly Don Bosco Donor Letter.

Mission & Vision
The Don Bosco Foundation aims to open up new opportunities for disadvantaged young people by providing donors with expert advice and legal support in the establishment, administration, and grant management of foundations. With transparency, personal guidance, and values rooted in Christianity, we seek to promote commitment to children and youth and to achieve sustainable impact.
Target groups
Our services are aimed at private individuals, companies, and donors who wish to support disadvantaged children and young people through the establishment of a foundation, additional endowments, donations, or legacies. We assist both those interested in founding a foundation and already established donor families with all legal and organizational matters related to funding and inheritance.
