About the funder
The EH Hamburger Foundation for the Promotion of Gifted Individuals was established in 2009 with the estate of a Hamburg teacher. The proceeds from the foundation's assets benefit particularly gifted pupils, students, and postgraduates to realize special educational and research projects. In the first ten years of its activity, the foundation supported 43 individuals with study and language trips, scientific or artistic projects, laboratory internships, archival stays, as well as final theses.

Mission & Vision
The EH Hamburger Foundation is committed to enabling highly gifted young people to realize exceptional educational projects through financial support. Our goal is to nurture individual potential and thereby promote scientific, artistic, and social progress.
Target groups
Eligible for funding are particularly gifted pupils of secondary schools as well as highly gifted students and postgraduates (master's students, doctoral candidates, habilitation candidates) from all academic disciplines. Proposals may also be submitted by teachers, university lecturers, or supervisors.
