Mission & Vision
EIRENE nonviolently advocates for peace, justice, and human rights. Through international volunteer services and skilled professional projects, the organization aims to facilitate encounters that encourage self-reflection and strengthen global solidarity. EIRENE promotes discrimination-sensitive, anti-racist, and power-critical peace work to collaboratively develop and implement visions for a nonviolent coexistence.
Target groups
EIRENE's programs are aimed at young adults aged 18 to 28 with permanent residency in Germany who are interested in a one-year voluntary service abroad. Participants should be willing to engage in intercultural exchange, actively participate in social projects in solidarity, learn languages, and reflect on their own privileges and global power structures. Furthermore, professionals and organizations in the partner countries are the target group of the deployed peace workers.
