Mission & Vision

The Elbstiftung is committed to equal opportunities and educational equity in Hamburg. By supporting creative media projects (film, radio, theater), young people are empowered to gain self-confidence, broaden their future prospects, and actively participate in society. We believe in the transformative power of education and community.

Target groups

The funding is primarily aimed at educationally disadvantaged young people from Hamburg, many of whom have a migration background. They each participate in the Elbstation Academy for one year to collaboratively implement media practice projects, develop their creative skills, and plan their path into vocational training or higher education.
