About the funder
The Ernst-Michael-Kranich Foundation is a non-profit foundation under civil law based in Glücksburg. It raises financial resources to support education and upbringing, youth welfare, science and research, as well as art and culture. Mission & Vision
The foundation is committed to promoting the holistic development of the individual into a free, self-determined personality. It is guided by the principles of Waldorf education and anthroposophical human studies and aims in particular to support institutions and projects that place the human being at the center of their essential development and open up innovative paths for the promotion of education, art, and culture.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at non-profit institutions and projects in the fields of Waldorf education, anthroposophical cultural and research initiatives, educational and childcare institutions, science, and the arts. This includes Waldorf kindergartens and schools, educational seminars, research institutes, as well as cultural and social projects both domestically and abroad that make an innovative contribution to education and cultural exchange.
