The European Academy of Law Trier (ERA) is a public foundation under German law and serves as a leading continuing education institution in the field of EU law. Based in Trier, ERA offers a diverse program of conferences, seminars, and e-learning modules for legal professionals throughout Europe. Founded in 1992, it supports over 9,000 participants annually and employs around 79 staff members. ERA promotes professional exchange among judges, prosecutors, lawyers, EU officials, and other legal practitioners.
