About the funder

The European Skin Cancer Foundation (ESCF) was established in June 2008 as a legally recognized foundation under civil law. It promotes prevention, research, and public awareness in the field of non-melanoma skin cancer in Europe. Its activities include the development and coordination of S3 guidelines, seminars and training programs for physicians, informational materials and awareness days, research funding for innovative NMSC projects, as well as special public campaigns such as the "European Day of Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer."

Mission & Vision

The ESCF is committed to effectively combating skin cancer in Europe through education, evidence-based guidelines, training of professionals, as well as the promotion of research and prevention. The goal is to reduce the incidence and burden of non-melanoma skin cancer and to provide affected individuals with optimal access to diagnosis and therapy.

Target groups
