Ev.-luth. St. Margarethen-Stiftung Gyhum

The Ev.-Luth. St. Margarethen Foundation Gyhum is a church foundation within the Hanoverian Regional Church. Its endowment capital is permanently preserved; only the proceeds are allocated to the areas of work of the St. Margarethen parish community in Gyhum. The aim is to secure vibrant local parish work in the long term. Funding is provided, among other things, for maintaining the pastoral position, services of various forms, church music (organ, choir, brass band, etc.), diaconal offerings (pastoral care, counseling, visits), children and youth work, as well as the maintenance of the church, parsonage, and community center.

Under the motto "Shaping the Future – Taking New Paths," the foundation aims to ensure that people in the Gyhum church community can continue to experience fellowship and live their Christian faith in the coming decades. Through sustainable management and the continuous expansion of the foundation's capital, the community work and local church home are to be preserved permanently.

The funding is aimed at all members and visitors of the Ev.-luth. St. Margarethen parish community in Gyhum, as well as at supporters and donors who wish to promote vibrant local church work. They benefit from a diverse range of services including worship, music, children’s and youth work, diaconal support, and community activities.
