Evangelische Pfarrpfründestiftung Baden (EPSB)
About the funder
The Evangelical Parish Endowment Foundation Baden (EPSB) is a legally recognized ecclesiastical foundation under public law based in Heidelberg. It was established as the successor to the Evangelical Central Parish Fund founded in 1881 and manages the beneficial assets of approximately 475 parish endowments in Baden. With its capital, the EPSB secures the long-term remuneration of pastoral positions in the Evangelical Regional Church in Baden, thereby promoting spiritual life in the congregations. Since October 2020, it has operated jointly with the Evangelical Foundation Care Schönau (ESPS) under the umbrella brand "Stiftung Schönau" to position its asset management and foundation purposes more clearly and visibly.
