Mission & Vision
With our foundation, we aim to foster in children and young people the belief in themselves and their own abilities, as well as to provide them with the necessary knowledge to become responsible members of society. By supporting selected educational and creative programs, we seek to help them pursue their path with commitment and confidence, make informed decisions, and bring positive contributions to the world.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Familie Gerhard Wöhrl Stiftung are aimed at children, adolescents, and young adults, particularly from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Initiatives and institutions that offer holistic educational and care approaches are supported, with the goal of imparting long-term trust, courage, and action competence to young people. Examples include early care in the "Lichtblick Hasenbergl" project (Munich) and musical training in the Balthasar-Neumann-Chor.
