Förderstiftung des Diakonischen Werkes Traunstein
About the funder
The Förderstiftung des Diakonischen Werkes Traunstein was established on June 28, 2000, with an initial endowment of 300,000 DM. The purpose of the foundation is the sustainable support of disabled, ill, care-dependent, or disadvantaged individuals within the Protestant deanery district of Traunstein, as well as the promotion of the work of the Diakonisches Werk Traunstein. The foundation’s proceeds and donations are used, among other things, for fee-free counseling centers, difficult-to-finance assistance for disadvantaged persons, services for elderly, disabled, or mentally ill individuals, as well as for families, children, and youth in need.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is lived charity through targeted financial support where public funds are insufficient. We strengthen the Diaconal Foundation of Traunstein and enable counseling and assistance services for people who would otherwise have no chance of support. Through responsible use of the foundation's income, we make a sustainable contribution to social inclusion and self-determination for all age and population groups.
Target groups
The funding foundation is aimed at disabled, ill, and care-dependent individuals, persons with mental illnesses or social disadvantages, families in distress who cannot help themselves, children and adolescents who rely on support, counseling, and therapeutic assistance, as well as counseling centers and diaconal services that cannot ensure self-financing.
