About the funder
finep is a non-profit organization that has been implementing projects in the field of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) for over 20 years and operates as a consulting agency in the non-profit sector. With locations in Esslingen and Berlin, finep supports civil society actors in Germany and Europe in planning, fundraising, moderation, organizational development, and change processes. finep’s work includes both the implementation of EU-wide ESD projects and individual consulting assignments, such as proposal development for institutional funding programs, workshops, and training sessions.

Target groups
finep is aimed at non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and civil society initiatives committed to global sustainability and climate protection. Our target groups include NGOs, municipal agencies, universities, and youth organizations seeking support in grant acquisition, project development, facilitation, and capacity building. Our focus is particularly on projects for sustainable education of young people and on collaborative EU-wide partnerships.
