About the funder
The Franz & Ursula Coppenrath Foundation is a legally established foundation under civil law, based in Geeste/Groß Hesepe. Founded by Ursula Coppenrath to continue the social entrepreneurship of her husband Franz, the foundation primarily pursues two funding objectives: combating Parkinson’s disease through support of research projects and access to information, as well as promoting young, socially disadvantaged individuals in the cultural, social, and health sectors. Mission & Vision
Our guiding principle "Giving Hope" expresses our desire to open up new perspectives for people facing barriers. We support results-oriented, sustainable projects that strengthen self-help capabilities and benefit both those affected and participants in the long term. Transparency, responsibility, and commitment of all stakeholders are at the core of our work.
Target groups
The foundation is directed, on the one hand, at individuals affected by Parkinson's disease, their relatives, as well as professionals such as doctors and physiotherapists, in order to support and make accessible research and aid services; and on the other hand, at young, socially disadvantaged children and adolescents who are motivated to take their future into their own hands and seize opportunities in the fields of culture, social affairs, and health.
