About the funder
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the GBSL Bau- und Siedlungsgenossenschaft Lübbecke eG, the independent, non-profit GBSL Foundation was established in 2011. It sees itself as a complementary pillar alongside the core business of GBSL and is committed to the housing and living conditions of people in the Minden-Lübbecke district. The foundation operates both operationally and as a funding foundation and supports, among other things, the Deutschlandstipendium to promote outstanding students.

Mission & Vision
The GBSL Foundation aims to sustainably strengthen the common good in the region beyond providing market-oriented housing. It supports social, cultural, and educational projects and initiates measures that improve community cohesion in the Minden-Lübbecke district. Through this structure, the foundation seeks to establish GBSL’s social management on a long-term basis.
Target groups
The funding programs of the GBSL Foundation are aimed at project sponsors and initiatives in the Minden-Lübbecke district who wish to sustainably improve living and housing conditions locally. This includes non-profit organizations, students within the framework of the Germany Scholarship, as well as associations and initiatives with innovative concepts for social, cultural, or educational support measures in the region.
