About the funder

The Globus Foundation was recognized as a legal entity under civil law with charitable status on July 1, 2005, by the Minister of the Interior of Saarland. It is naturally funded by the founder's donations and is tax-exempt according to the exemption notice from the Saarbrücken tax office. Headquartered in St. Wendel, the foundation primarily supports projects aimed at promoting self-help for children and young people both domestically and abroad. Within Germany, the focus is on assisting disadvantaged youth in integrating into professional life, while abroad the emphasis is on improving medical care as well as education and training in structurally weak regions. The Globus Foundation provides financial grants for these purposes and does not charge administrative fees.

Mission & Vision

"Awakening strengths with heart and mind." The Globus Foundation is committed to helping young people become aware of their talents and abilities, empowering them, and opening up a self-determined perspective – through targeted support in education, training, and medical care.

Target groups

The funding programs of the Globus Foundation primarily target children and adolescents in difficult life situations. Domestically, projects are supported that assist disadvantaged young people with career preparation and integration. Internationally, the foundation promotes measures to improve healthcare as well as the education and training of children and adolescents in regions where external aid is necessary. Only non-profit organizations with proven reliability are funded.
