It aims to build a strong, democratic, and sustainable civil society through consulting, networking, and grants, and to effectively support innovative nonprofit projects.
Target groups
The funding programs of GLS Treuhand primarily target non-profit organizations and initiatives in Germany that aim to initiate social renewal. This includes associations, NGOs, educational institutions, or development projects in the fields of youth and elderly care, education and vocational training, democracy and human rights, curative education, international development cooperation, arts and culture, ecological agriculture, as well as complementary medicine. In exceptional cases (e.g., scholarships), individual applicants may also submit proposals.
