Gunter Ullrich Stiftung Aschaffenburg (GUSA)

Public foundation

About the funder

The Gunter Ullrich Foundation Aschaffenburg (GUSA) was established in 2014 by the Ullrich family and representatives of the city of Aschaffenburg as a non-independent foundation within the museums of the city of Aschaffenburg. It holds an extensive collection of more than 550 graphics by the artist Gunter Ullrich (woodcuts and linocuts, etchings) as well as additional archival materials such as collages, printing blocks, and sketchbooks. The foundation's goal is to research, preserve, and make accessible to the public the multifaceted oeuvre. At the same time, GUSA supports scholarly publications and exhibitions and organizes the Gunter Ullrich Prize for Art Education, awarded every two years.
