About the funder
The non-profit Hardtberg Foundation was established in 2004 and is dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children and adolescents in the Rhine-Main region. It focuses on the key areas of education, physical activity, nutrition, and inclusion. In addition to supporting external partner organizations (e.g., chancenreich e.V., Eintracht Frankfurt Pausenliga, brotZeit e.V., VITA Assistenzhunde e.V.), the foundation manages its own program "Reading Makes You Smart," which directly supports primary schools in Frankfurt.

The Hardtberg Foundation has made it its mission to provide disadvantaged children and adolescents with a healthy foundation for life. Through targeted support programs, close cooperation with regional networks, and direct exchange with educational institutions, we sustainably strengthen education, physical activity, nutrition, and inclusion, creating opportunities for positive development.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Hardtberg Foundation are aimed at disadvantaged children and adolescents, particularly primary school children in the Rhine-Main area. The focus is on students who have limited opportunities due to social or economic circumstances. Our programs promote reading, physical activity, healthy nutrition, and inclusion to improve equal opportunities and participation.
