About the funder
The Helmut-Behn Foundation is a legally recognized foundation under civil law, established in 2001 by Andreas Behn and based in Cologne. It supports children, adolescents, and students in the spirit of ethical education and upbringing, and promotes the diversity of the educational system through artistic projects (art, music, dance, theater) at institutions with a reform-pedagogical approach. Current focal points are the projects "Klassenstreicher" (elementary music practice with string instruments in primary and secondary schools) and "Kindermusikanten" (elementary music practice in daycare centers).

Mission & Vision
The Helmut-Behn Foundation pursues the foundation’s purpose of providing children, adolescents, and students with holistic and ethically oriented educational and upbringing opportunities.
