Our goal is to enable disadvantaged individuals and families to actively engage in social life through tailored support instruments and to accompany them on the path to sustainable independence.

Target groups

Children, adolescents, and young adults who receive subsistence benefits under SGB II or SGB XII and thereby qualify for services from the Education and Participation Package are eligible for funding. Furthermore, the Social Fund is aimed at individuals or groups from the city of Holzminden who have fallen into acute financial hardship due to material or social disadvantages and whose needs are not covered by other social service providers.
