It promotes modern hospice work and palliative care in the greater Nuremberg area by providing financial support to both organizations and individuals – such as families with seriously ill or severely disabled relatives. Mission & Vision

The Hospiz- und Palliativstiftung Nürnberg is committed to the dignified care of seriously ill and dying individuals as well as their relatives. Its goal is to sustainably improve hospice and palliative care through targeted financial support for training, projects, events, and material assistance, and to further embed the idea of the hospice movement within society.

Target groups

Institutions and projects active in hospice and palliative care in the greater Nuremberg area, as well as individuals and families requiring support due to serious illnesses or disabilities, are eligible for funding. Initiatives for the training of hospice volunteers, social development projects, and networking events may also receive grants upon application, provided that the funded purpose aligns with the foundation’s statutory objectives.
