About the funder
The IHK Foundation Southern Upper Rhine was established by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Southern Upper Rhine with initial capital to promote the vocational qualification of young people in the region. Through awards for outstanding achievements in dual vocational training, it opens doors for graduates at the start of their careers and provides financial support for further training and qualification measures. Furthermore, the foundation enables companies and private individuals to invest sustainably in the future of the regional economy through donations and endowments.

Mission & Vision
The IHK Foundation Southern Upper Rhine aims to strengthen education as the most important resource of our region. It supports outstanding young professionals in their career development by providing awards and financial assistance, thereby further enhancing the attractiveness and quality of dual vocational training in the Southern Upper Rhine.
Target groups
The funding programs of the IHK Foundation are aimed at graduates of dual vocational training within the district of the IHK Südlicher Oberrhein. The target group consists of young people who have achieved outstanding results in their vocational training and are to receive additional opportunities for further education, qualification, and career orientation through financial contributions from the foundation.
