About the funder

The Ilse Kubaschewski Foundation is a legally recognized civil law foundation based in Munich, established in 1994 by the film producer Ilse Kubaschewski. It pursues two main objectives: the financial support of artists in the performing arts who are in need of assistance and care, and the promotion of humane care in old age. Through the foundation and its wholly owned subsidiary DIVINA non-profit GmbH, needy film and stage professionals are supported with monthly standard allowances, accommodation, and care assistance. Furthermore, the foundation promotes scientific research and projects aimed at ensuring dignified social and medical care for the elderly. The Ilse Kubaschewski House in Starnberg also offers various counseling, care, and social interaction services under one roof.
