Mission & Vision
Our goal is to promote socially relevant issues in the long term by investing our private assets in projects with high public interest and sustainable benefits. We particularly support education, art, monument preservation, and environmental protection – always independently, transparently, and based on values.
Target groups
The Tiemann Foundation is aimed at public museums in Germany that collect and exhibit contemporary painting, cultural institutions and organizers (e.g., Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, Humboldt Forum), organizations for monument preservation (Friends of the Prussian Palaces and Gardens), as well as educational institutions and scholarship organizations (German National Academic Foundation). The goal is to strengthen both institutions and artists, cultural professionals, and young talents in the long term.
