Mission & Vision
The ILB aims to sustainably strengthen the economic development and quality of life in the state of Brandenburg. Through tailored financing, consulting, and service offerings, it promotes innovation, structural change, social housing, the creation and preservation of jobs, as well as vocational training. In doing so, it works closely with the state ministry, municipalities, and other partners.

The ILB's funding programs are aimed at private companies and start-ups, public clients and municipal authorities, private individuals (e.g., for home ownership), landlords and owners of rental housing, associations, federations and chambers, as well as universities and research institutions.
