About the funder
The Iwanson-Sixt Foundation was established in 2007 by Jessica Iwanson and Stefan Sixt and has since supported around 300 scholarships and individual projects in contemporary dance. Its focus is on supporting emerging dancers, while also honoring distinguished senior dancers. Every two years, the foundation awards the "Isadora Prize" to individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of contemporary dance over decades. Donations are used 100% directly for scholarships.

Mission & Vision
The foundation supports emerging contemporary dancers through targeted scholarship awards and honors experienced dancers, choreographers, and dance educators with the Isadora Prize. Its goal is to inspire creative impulses, support artistic careers, and provide a sustainable development platform for the dance community.
Target groups
Young, emerging talents in the field of contemporary dance as well as distinguished dancers, choreographers, and dance educators who enrich the dance landscape through many years of artistic work are supported. The scholarships are aimed at individuals and groups who implement innovative projects and seek to further develop the contemporary dance heritage.
