About the funder
The Josef Stanglmeier Foundation is a non-profit public foundation under civil law, headquartered in Abensberg, Münchener Straße 16. It was established in 1978 by the founder Josef Stanglmeier on the occasion of his 60th birthday and is approved by the Bavarian State Ministry for Education and Culture. The foundation pursues charitable and scientific purposes as well as the promotion of youth welfare, art and culture, education and upbringing, and sports. To this end, the foundation implements its own measures and events, receives and awards financial grants to deserving individuals or non-profit organizations, and makes its sports facilities at the Abensberg Leisure Center available to young people and students.

Mission & Vision
Our goal is to empower young people in Bavaria through support for education and training, meaningful leisure activities, sports programs, as well as cultural and scientific project funding. We aim to provide assistance to individuals in need and non-profit organizations to promote equal opportunities, community spirit, and personal development.
Target groups
The funding programs are primarily aimed at adolescents and young adults in Bavaria, as well as individuals in need and distress. Additionally, non-profit public law corporations and recognized institutions implementing projects in the fields of youth education and assistance, sports, science, art, and culture are supported.
